Explore South Iceland’s famous wonders, including the infamous Eyjafjallajökull volcano, the Glacier Lagoon, and the Golden Circle. One of the highlights of this amazing tour is a visit to the unique, volcanically active Westman Islands, where you’ll see first-hand how volcanoes have impacted Iceland. We’ve also added some awe-inspiring activities to bring you closer to some of Iceland’s most beautiful glaciers.
Each morning, your tour coach will depart from the hotel after breakfast, and your tour vehicle will generally arrive at your next night’s accommodation in the late afternoon. Each day there generally will be no more than 45 minutes to one-hour driving between each tour stop.

Day 1. Arrival - Pre night
Transfer to Reykjavík is on your own. We recommend the easy and convenient FlyBus Plus transfers. Once in Reykjavik, check into your hotel. If you arrive early in the day, you might want to explore Reykjavik’s old town area, location of many museums and galleries. You might also enjoy visiting one of the city’s outdoor geothermal swimming pools where you can shake off your jetlag. In the afternoon you could take one of our day tours, such as whale watching or horseback riding, both bringing you close to Iceland’s nature and landscape.

Dinner is on your own. Reykjavik offers a multitude of restaurants and/or coffee-houses, making dinner a great way to get better acquainted with Iceland’s capital.
